Mentorship 辅导课程

Our Career Coaching Mentorship Program supports 1st generation Chinese immigrants in preparing them for a successful career in the US. We connect university students with seasoned professionals that are passionate about giving back. Mentees are given the opportunity to be matched with a wide array of mentors with different backgrounds and expertise.

我们的职业辅导课程针对来美国的第一代中国移民，帮助他们适应新的生活和工作环境并且获得事业发展的成功。我们有很多热衷于公益的、有经验的业内精英，愿成为在校大学学生的就业导师并分享他们的职场经验。学员们有机会根据自己的专业兴趣与各种背景、专业的导师配对。

Program Details:

Mentors: we are looking for industry career veterans with at least 3 years of working experience in US.

Mentees: we are looking for University students who are:

  • 1st generation immigrants

  • Willing to initiate and maintain regular contact with their mentor

  • Serious about their personal and professional development

Enrollment: Both mentors and mentees are welcomed to apply by contacting SCCA with a current CV. After completing a brief questionnaire, matches will be made by the SCCA Career Coaching Mentorship Program based on the background of Mentors and the career interests of Mentees.

Connecting Style: 1:1, some mentors may commit to more than one mentee.

Recommended Commitment: We recommend a one-year commitment. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet informally or at SCCA events at least 10 times over the course of the program.

导师：我们需要行业资深人士，并且有至少三年的美国职场工作经验。

学员：在校大学生，并符合以下条件：

  • 第一代移民

  • 愿意主动和导师保持一定联系

  • 重视个人职业发展

报名：欢迎有意参与的辅导老师和学员报名。我们会根据导师的职业背景和学员的个人意向进行配对。

辅导方式：一对一，导师可辅导两名以上学员。

建议：参与项目的导师和学员最少坚持一年。参与项目的导师和学员建议一年之内参加10次辅导课程。
