Announcing the Winners of Summer Cupcake Making Contest

During Memorial Day weekend, SCCA hosted a cupcake making competition (remotely, of course) to celebrate the holiday weekend and the beginning of summer. Since we couldn’t taste the cupcakes in person, all cupcakes were assumed to be delicious and were judged on appearance, theme, and design. So with that, we bring you… the winners!

Top prize ($100 Amazon gift card) goes to Wendy, who made the "Epidemiological Protection Four Steps". Her attention to detail was impressive, but the reason she edged out the competition was her choice of theme, not to mention the fact she was promoting the proper safety precautions to take during the pandemic!

Second place ($50 Amazon gift card) goes to Carmen's "Cute Villain Series". Carmen’s cupcakes stood out with their lifelike characters and amazing handmade details!

Third place ($25 Amazon gift card) goes to Nicole and her "Summer Berry Love Series". Nicole’s eye-catching decoration and color theme just made us want to take a bite!

The cakes made by other participants are also highly creative, visually appealing and (probably) delicious. It was a blast judging all your submissions, so on that note we would like to thank everyone for their participation and wish everyone a healthy and happy summer!
